Summertime

Well, the summer as we know it is soon to be over.  Not that it's getting cooler by any means, but school will be starting in just two short weeks.  Unfortunately this summer has been fairly lame-o.  There's only so much you can do with a newborn in tow.  However, aside from way too much tv, we were able to get the customary swimming lessons in, visits from cousins, a trip to the art museum, and Tommy even made a quick trip to Seattle.  And on these hot summer nights, the kids even got homemade popsicles in their pj's (okay, frozen kool-aid hardly counts as homemade, but I'll take my props where I can).

I just love these sweet faces!  Thankfully Jake has been a little happier lately and we have been able to enjoy more of his smiles.  The kids want to smother him with their love any chance they get, but luckily they know not to mess with a sleeping baby.  However, that means that the minute he wakes up, he has two faces right up in his grill.

Here are my boys!

He's getting so chunky! You must be giving him cream! I think Jake looks more like Tim's side of the family--at least from the pics I've seen.

This is a mega comment for the past several posts! Congratulations on little Jake. I love the pictures of his ultrasounded feet and then to see them in real life. He is a handsome stud and has grown so much. I wish you at least a four hour stretch of sleep at times and happy bonding! The clean sweep is phenomenal! I mean really, you did that? with everything else that is going on in your crazy life! could you come to my house and do it? I'm afraid even our master bedroom could use some help! You have a wonderful family and there is no doubt that it is because you are so wonderful yourself! xoxo across the miles

Seriously- what a gorgeous family you have! I love all the new photos. You each have a twin already, so I'm anxious to see who baby Jake ends up looking like. So cute!! Congrats.

In the picture with all 3 of your kids, I just get a kick out of Hannah's face. You definitely have cute kids. Hope to see you soon.
